CARRY COMPThe most compact of the three variants — purpose-built for the shooter who wants recoil reduction without changing anything about their carry setup. The Carry Comp is fully compatible with all open bottom carry holsters. It stays on the gun from morning carry to range session without removal or reinstallation. Machined to reduce muzzle flip on standard pressure 9mm without adding bulk to the Echelon's carry profile. 50-state legal in every configuration.
MATCH COMPThe mid-size variant for the shooter who lives at the range. More port area than the Carry Comp means a flatter muzzle presentation, faster sight acquisition, and quicker follow-up shots on every string. Not designed for everyday carry — designed for the shooter who wants meaningful performance gains in a range context without sacrificing the clean aesthetics that make a well-built Echelon worth showing up with. 50-state legal in every configuration.
XL COMPMaximum port area. Maximum recoil reduction. Maximum presence. The XL is the comp David built because guns should look as good as they shoot. It is a range piece — not a carry piece — and it makes no apologies for that. When you rack the slide and the XL is on the muzzle, everyone on the line knows something different just arrived. Co-Founder — Head of Design & ManufacturingDavid served as a Navy Corpsman before spending fifteen years machining gun barrels, aerospace components, and defense parts for some of the most demanding applications in the industry. He designed the Azimuth Comp System because he believed a compensator should be as precisely engineered as the pistol it sits on — and because guns should look as good as they shoot. Three variants. CHRISTIAN PRUSIA
Co-Founder — CEOChristian spent twenty-five years building and scaling technology companies before co-founding Vital Arms. He picked up an Echelon, tried to build it out the way he had built out his competition pistols, and found nothing in the aftermarket designed to work together as a system. That frustration became a product brief. That product brief became the Meridian. He handles everything that happens outside the machine shop.
